By default, when a page renders for a visitor, Persosa will apply the modifications for the experience the visitor is was in at the start of their session. What this means is that, if a visitor changes experiences mid-session and returns to a prior page, that page will look the same as it did at the beginning of their session.

If you'd prefer to disable this behavior, you may do so by setting the consistentUX property to false when initializing the Persosa tracking code:

persosa('init', '<ACCOUNT ID>', { consistentUX: false });

When set to false , if a visitor's experience changes mid-session, that new experience will be used on subsequent pageviews, meaning their experience on a page they previously saw may be different the subsequent time they view it.
